Marketing, merchandising and sales were skills that she learned early on running a jewelry and a beauty products storefront in 1995. Managing a manufacturing business for over a decade and launching a successful ecommerce business gave her insight on how important market trends are and how conditions affect consumer behavior. Buying her first home in Austin, Texas when she was just 22, she knows the importance of investing in real estate and wants to help others achieve their goals.

Moving into Houston in 2009 she understands the unique challenges that buyers and sellers face living in Houston. Melissa “Mel” Aljoe was born in Singapore and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where she graduated from Elkins High School. She attended Texas A & M University, College Station, TX, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History and a Masters in Education. She moved to Houston and spent the next seven years as a high school history teacher and volleyball and golf coach.

When Melissa decided to make a career change she chose to become a full time professional Realtor. It has turned out to be a great choice because she has always had an interest in real estate, loves to meet new people, and loves to help her clients find the perfect homes for their families. Melissa is dedicated to going above and beyond what is necessary to make sure her clients have smooth and stress-free real estate transactions.
