Hwo do I notify HAR about agents that have made appointments for showing a property and they don't show up? This is the third time and my client has a 9 month old baby. This is not right! Vicki Harring 643623

It's just rude to not show for an appointment and not give notice or reschedule. I would call HAR to see how to handle this. Agents will be fined for no shows.

What does it mean when a DOM number has an asterisk beside it?

It means the property has been re-listed at least once to reset the number of days on market and that the actual DOM is greater. You have to check the history of the listing (little clock on top left side in the MLS) to find the number of cumulated days on market.

I would refer your client to home partners of america. The company buys the house (assuming the house qualifies) lets your client (assuming they qualify) rent it ( up to 3 years in texas) with an option to buy, not an obligation.

I think what you are asking is about selling a home that flooded in Hurricane Harvey. I know of many homes that have sold after being repaired from the flood. I would not assume that buyers would not buy a flooded home. Many homes flooded that had never flooded since construction in the 1940-50\'s. I tell my buyers that want a home in an area that \"will not flood\" that we simply cannot predict when or where the next storm will happen. Any area that got as much rain as Harvey delivered would probably flood. But HH was a rare event. I think if a home has been remediated and repaired, it will likely sell. If sellers do not want to repair then investors will buy to do repairs to rent or sell those properties. I hope I answered what you were asking.

Selling acreage property is all about the marketing and pricing according to area comps. Consider listing on the mls as Country Homes and Acreage if it is over 5 acres. Head over to Matrix and run a property search. Add the HOA field and select No from the dropdown. Then, check the Restrictions field and choose No Restrictions from the dropdown. Keep in mind that some properties might not have an HOA but could still have deed restrictions, so its worth double-checking.
