I moved to Houston in 1997. As a native Texan, I also feel like a native Houstonian because of all the time my family spent driving from Beaumont to Houston to watch Astros games or to attend concerts.

I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Minor in French. I spent two summers interning with the Texas Attorney General's office and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. After graduating, I worked as a passport agent in both the New Orleans and Houston Passport Agencies.

I later went on to receive my Paralegal Certificate from Lone Star College and spent time working in family law. Receiving my real estate license from the great State of Texas is another accomplishment that I proudly add to my list.

Everyone experiences some sort of transition in life. Examples may include downsizing due to becoming an "empty nester", upgrading to a larger home because you're welcoming a baby, or due to family having to move in with you. Passionate, involved, and proven Heidi Hancock is a true Houston local eager to walk with buyers, sellers, and investors in the northwest Houston real estate market. After a seasoned career in education, Heidi decided it was time to reinvent herself and pursue her dream of guiding clients in the most important investment of their lives. Heidi says, I chose real estate because it will allow me to interact with and help people, both peers and clients alike. Prior to launching her real estate career, Heidi taught preschool science for almost fifteen years. With a degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M at Galveston, Heidi's varied career experience includes working as a student underwater videographer at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab at NASA and dolphin trainer in Cancun, Mexico. She served in organizing school fundraisers for a decade and also ran her neighborhood swim team as the Team Rep for three years and another seven on the swim board. Heidi says, As a family, we love to travel. All four of us are SCUBA divers, so we often find ourselves taking trips to Roatan, Jamaica, Cancun, Cabo, Cozumel and so many other tropical places.
