I was born in Dallas and traveled around the US with my family until we settled in Spring, Texas when I was five. My love of Real Estate and new home construction began in high school. Several years after graduating, I began working as an assistant and bookkeeper for a group of 16 Custom homebuilders in Cypress, Texas. The excitement of being involved in the homebuilding process from blueprints to completion motivated me to get my real estate license in 1990, and my Broker Associates license in 2015. In my free time I practice yoga, ride horses, travel, go to live music events, attend the Texas Renaissance Festival, and spend time near the ocean, or swimming like a mermaid in the pool. I absolutely love spending time with my family and friends, especially my 7- and 9-year-old nieces. I am also a big supporter of animal rights and I support local rescue groups in my community. Due to my Real Estate background, I am also obsessed with home remodeling and home decorating shows on the Discovery Channel. And of course, helping people find the perfect house while having some fun along the way. If I could do anything I wanted for a living and not get paid, it would be working with horses. I am the happiest when I can trade in my dresses and high heels for jeans and cowboy boots and ride horses all day. Hey there! I'm glad to meet you! I'm Jodilinn Robinson, your Native Realtor. I am a seventh generation Austinite and proud to say my family was part of the original 300 settlers to Texas. I was born in Austin, left before it got weird LOL, grew up in Georgetown and now reside in Granite Shoals on Lake LBJ. My Real Estate career started 12 years ago and it's been a great 12 years of experience and wonderful relationships gained. Like many of my clients I have had many major life events. I have lost family members, lost pets, lost a marriage, sold a home, moved a few times, etc. It's life's ups and downs that motivate me to do my best for my clients. We are all going through something and what may be small to one person could be huge to another, so I always try and remember that in a transaction and in life. I also have a passion for live music, paddle boarding, fishing and being with friends and family. That is something that draws me closer to some of my clients as well. A lot of my clients become my friends too and we like doing some of the same things. I have a love for the community and those in it, I believe that volunteering is an important part of everyday life. It helps me stay connected to my community. Hopefully, it helps you too.
