Al Cannistra is a Texas licensed Broker / REALTOR in the San Antonio area and a property Tax Arbitrator for the State of Texas. Born and raised in Chicago, he relocated to San Antonio in 2004 and became a licensed REALTOR® in 2005. Prior to real estate, Al served as a vice president of a billion dollar multi-national consumer products company. His office specializes in residential properties in the northern area of the city and into the start of Hill Country.

A proud alumnus of Texas A&M University, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Development in 2002. Beyond my professional life, I am a proud husband and father of three. Our family's passion for the outdoors has led us on numerous adventures. We've traversed over 35,000 miles and explored over 30 states and Canada in our motorhome, immersing ourselves in the diverse landscapes of North America. Our love for travel extends beyond the continent, as we have also journeyed throughout Central America, embracing the rich cultures and landscapes that region has to offer. I am a born Houstonian but I find myself still exploring, meeting new people and observing cultures, which is one of the wonderful benefits of living around Houston. I have a passion music which I have exercised for 15 years by playing the alto Saxophone for my church.

I have had a career around wireless technology which included customer service, tech support, sales, training and management. Every position has had valuable lessons for my personal growth and has taught me to always continue learning, growing and striving for excellence.
