Forrest grew up on Lake McQueeney where life on the water was his favorite pastime, he enjoyed wakeboarding, water skiing and barefooting. Ultimately, Forrest's skills developed well, and he won National Wakeboard Championships in his division in 2003 and 2011. Thereafter, he quickly became a professional water-skier at Sea World of San Antonio where he performed for several years. He continues to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as backpacking with his chocolate Labrador retriever, cruising the lakes with family and friends or even training for his next Iron man Triathlon. Forrest's analytical mindset led him to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University. While attending Texas State University, Forrest purchased his first real estate property which gave him a greater appreciation for the industry. After graduation, Forrest sold Malibu Wakeboard boats for nearly 5 years. This led to a deeper understanding and passion for the lake life. This deep seeded love for real estate and the lake brought him to Waterfront Real Estate. His knowledge and passion for the lakes paired with his strong business acumen allows him to be a valuable asset to his clients who are looking for the perfect waterfront home.

She is a graduate of Texas State and more recently the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI). She is married to Jim McAlpin and together they have two beautiful daughters; Abby, who attends UNT and Lanie who attends NMSU. Grant Lopez is a third generation San Antonian and has been a licensed REALTOR since 2009. Currently he serves as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Board for the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) and is also a proud member of the Board of Directors to the Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA). He takes great pride in knowing that he works hard for his clients not only during the sale, but also afterwards through both associations' efforts to protect the dream of home ownership and private property rights. Grant also serves on the Board of Directors to both the Texas Association of REALTORS (TAR) and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). In 2017 Grant was selected by NAR as one of their 30 Under 30. The list which is nationally published by REALTOR Magazine recognizes rising stars who are successful in real estate and have demonstrated skill, success, creativity, and leadership in their careers. Outside of work Grant enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy Marie, and their two little girls.
