Additionally, Women's Council rolled out a new 3-year Strategic Plan in 2018 and increased their RPAC numbers to achieve the highest participation rate of any institute, society or council in the NAR family.

Jo Ann is actively involved in her community, having served as Chairman of the Board for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce twice, and Treasurer of the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council

Jo Ann is actively involved in numerous charitable organizations, including The Arc of Fort Bend "Best in the West" event raising in excess of $5M for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Stevens has also been honored for her many commitments. She received the Local Member of the Year Award, Local Entrepreneur of the Year Award and State Member of the Year Award from Women's Council twice.
