My inspiration for real estate came after I realized I could achieve the goal of home ownership! I was a single mother on public assistance, and wanted a change for my family. Originally from the Minneapolis suburbs, Bethany grew up in a family- operated custom home building and remodeling firm. Bethany and her husband have moved 9 times, in their 20 year marriage and from those experiences she has built her business focusing on honesty, education and effective communication with her clients. Her goal is to make the process seamless and enjoyable! Outside of work Bethany cherishes time with her family. Bethany is the proud wife of Marine Corps Veteran, and Purple Heart recipient, Brent Straub. Together they have two children, Stella and James. The Straub's are proud to call The Woodlands home, so much so, they convinced Bethany's parents to move her after they retired in 2022. Bethany also enjoys walking her dog, Mattis. Hosting and entertaining friends, renovating their home and exploring the world through travel. Bethany is an involved community member participating in The National Charity League, serving as Vice President of The Woodlands Girls Lacrosse organization and being a lifetime member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxiliary.

I was born and raised in Colombia. I have lived with my husband and two children in Houston since 2006. Prior to becoming a real estate agent I held various professional positions in the banking industry. When my second child was born I decided to be a full time mom dedicated to raising and educating my children. I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate because I enjoy helping people achieve their dreams.

My previous banking experience of helping customers from all walks of life taught me the importance of diplomacy, professionalism, drive, and has given me a solid background to bring to the real estate profession.
