She was also named REALTOR Associate of the Year by the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS and served on the Board of Directors of this organization for four years. She was President of the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS in 1993 and following served on the Executive Committee. Sue also served on the steering committee for the Women's Business Enterprise for the South Montgomery County/Woodlands Chamber of Commerce in 1994 and was named as a Woman of Disctinction.
