About Leslie

Originally from Tulsa, Leslie Nicholls is the daughter of a world respected Orthodontist/Inventor and his wife, a renowned Interior Designer and Restauranteur. Heavily influence by their accomplishments, Leslie followed her dreams by starting an International Orthodontic Laboratory at the age of 21.

She traveled the country and world teaching Orthodontists how to use her patented technique. Influenced by her parents, she had always had a love for Design. Growing up, many of their family homes were featured in Bon Appetit, Country Home and Garden, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, and Oklahoma Home and Garden.

After 8 years in Orthodontics, Leslie sold her Lab and moved to Aspen, CO where she was the Design Coordinator and Business Administrator for a top Interior Designer. She went on to study Interior Design at Guildhall University's School of Design in England. After a few years in the Design World, she was accepted to UMKC School of Dentistry where she was the Vice President of her Dental Class.

In 1997, her husband was relocated, and they moved to Ft. Lauderdale, where she became a Realtor and worked for the top boutique Real Estate firm in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. After honing her skills in one of the toughest international/Vacation markets in the country, she moved to Houston, where she has lived for the past 16 years. Leslie knows Houston! Leslie has always had a thirst for knowledge and a desire to be the best at everything that she endeavors. She strives for perfection in all things and has a strong work ethic, which she has used extensively in her 21-year career in Real Estate. She has been a Top Producer many times in her career, awarded Hall of Fame and Most Outgoing Referrals.

Because of her hands-on approach and tenacity to help all of her clients achieve their goals, she exceeds expectations. A lifelong Equestrian, she loves spending time with her horse, Farandole. Because of her background in the Hunter/Jumper world, she knows and loves to sell horse property. A love of Art, which she started at age 4, trained her mind to see things with dimension and depth. Leslie turned her artistic expression to music when she was 30 and went on to be a Vocalist/Soloist in the Spanish Choir at her church. She was a member of the Kansas City Songwriters Circle and founded the Ft. Lauderdale Songwriters Circle, which helped many young and old musicians find the courage to write and perform in front of people. Leslie and her husband have 5 kids, 4 have graduated and the last one is in college.
