I specialize in residential real estate listings and home buyers. I make it a practice to communicate with my clients and listen to their plans, needs, and goals. Extensive marketing programs and hard work have resulted in many satisfied clients. I'm proud that I have many repeat customers and quality referrals, which are the best compliments I shall ever receive.

When listing properties for sellers, I closely analyze the property and its features, review market trends and activity, use professional photography for maximum marketing exposure, monitor viewings to obtain maximum feedback for my sellers, utilize staging companies when appropriate, hold open houses, and regularly update my sellers.

I also enjoy working with home buyers, whether a first time buyer or a seasoned investor. I realize this is a significant and important purchase for them and their families, and I want to make sure we secure them the home of their dreams! To better serve my clients, I have built relationships with mortgage professionals who can answer all their financing questions and guide them through the entire process, whether it be a VA, FHA, conventional, or even a hard money loan program. Plus, I am very experienced in the various negotiations that arise during the purchase process to better protect my buyers' interests. My team and I work all over the Houston Metropolitan area. We realize most everyone has a busy life and schedule, and will set up appointments when most convenient for our clients.

Sherry Barker brings the same level of commitment to servicing the real estate needs of her customers and clients at Greenwood King Properties as she gave while serving in key positions for organizations including the March of Dimes and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). “Working all these years as a volunteer, particularly in schools and my church prepared me well for my new career as a Realtor®,” remarks Barker. “As a result, I have extensive knowledge of neighborhoods and schools inside and outside the loop.

Originally from Tennessee, Barker made Houston her home 24 years ago. Since then, she has given of her time, enthusiasm, and “willingness to go the extra mile” while serving as the “Mothers March of Dimes” chair, a PTA president, vice president and fund raising chair, a member of the Houston Junior Forum, the Houston Bar Auxiliary and Bible study leader. In 1998 she received her real estate license and joined Greenwood King Properties.

Barker is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, the wife of an attorney and the mother of two college students and one high school student. With her background and experience, she is well qualified to assist all home buyers, but especially the first time purchaser.

Kitty was born in Atlanta, Georgia and attended the University of Houston. Friends and peers describe Kitty as friendly, caring, confident, and competitive in the most loving way. Her desire for success is a driving factor in the strength of her overall work ethic. After many years of working directly and personally with clients and customers across the board, Kitty full-heartedly believes in the importance of great customer service, and she applies these values in her day-to-day work as a real estate agent.

Thanks to her impressive 20 years spent living in the Memorial Villages area of Houston, Kitty is able to deliver expansive and intelligent insight on the area and all that it has to offer to the potential homeowner. She understands the importance of a pleasant experience in terms of buying and selling a house and is extremely attentive when it comes to putting the right buyers and sellers together in the most pleasurable way.
