Realtor Karen Prichard Warren, a native Houstonian. My father was an architect and designer who not only designed beautiful homes and furniture, but was also an artist. I guess that's where my passion for architecture and design came from, she said. One of her first jobs was with a commercial management company in the bookkeeping department and the later she worked for a home builder. This six-year position taught Warren a lot about construction. After gaining experience working in the commercial management and homebuilding sectors, she decided to try her hand at real estate and became licensed in 2000. She recently moved back to Houston after 18 years working in Granbury, Texas. Warren joined Greenwood King Properties. She likes to educate her clients regarding the buying and selling process and what the market is doing. As the mother of four children, she learned she is stronger than she thought when her husband passed away while her children were between the ages of 12 and 3. Houstonian by heart and choice! Originally from Mexico, I have lived in The Space City for 36 incredible years! I've been married for 25 years, and having two kids helps me understand the importance of finding a home in the right neighborhood for my clients and their families. After graduating from college, I started my journalism career, which spans over 20 years with several major English and Spanish television news networks in Texas. I covered incidents and celebrations within Houston and its surrounding areas. I met many people from all walks of life, which allowed me to understand the residential area that fit their lifestyles and priorities. As children were growing up, our family lifestyle and preferences changed, so in 2009, I decided to get my license in real estate; nothing has been more fulfilling to me than seeing my clients' faces when they closed on the home of their dreams! Helping my clients with the buying process is my passion. I believe that we continue learning and enriching our knowledge throughout our lives. In 2015, I returned to college and got a degree from UH in psychology, with minors in Mexican American Studies and Journalism.
