I’m not from Texas, but I really did get here as soon as I could. Originally born and raised in Sonoma County, California, I fell in love with everything Texas, particularly Houston, and moved here in 2014 to be a part of its diversity, economy, thriving nature and friendly demeanor. Fourteen years working in the legal field, 4 years of that as a paralegal for top personal injury and probate attorneys, taught me great multitasking and organizing skills, how to maintain a professional demeanor, attention to details, and how to work well under pressure. It also nurtured and strengthened my love of helping people, which I carry with me into real estate. I particularly take great satisfaction working with renters and first time home buyers, building a relationship of trust, honesty and integrity while keeping a constant and open line of communication to mitigate stress and worry. I take the importance of home very seriously and your home is no exception. The Realtor-client relationship is one I cherish and strive to maintain long after the signing of final documents. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, running marathons, traveling, and meeting friendly folks wherever I go…not hard to do in Texas! Though my family is back in California, my Houston family consists of a supportive significant other, a little black kitty, and a funny looking dog we rescued off the street.

With over 20 plus years of experience in the real estate industry I have worn various hats that have equipped me with a diverse skill set. My journey began in 1989 as a real estate professional, later continuing growth as licensed real estate agent in Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. In 2001, I relocated to Baton Rouge LA, where I consulted for management companies. I obtained Bachelor's degree in Business at Louisiana State University Baton Rouge LA. I also obtained a Louisiana real estate broker license. Returned to my native state of Texas in 2013 to the Houston area and use all my previous experience helping both buyers and sellers in their real estate negotiations.

My first priority as a Realtor is to make my clients happy. I listen to my clients wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction and I strive to ensure that the home buying or selling process is fun, easy and stress-free. Having moved to Madison county over two decades ago, I have enjoyed most of my adult life here. I worked as a registered nurse since 1984 and moved to Madisonville in 1994 continuing my nursing career. While I enjoyed helping people as a nurse, I also find real estate to be an occupation of helping as well. She also has 34 years in retail business, which developed her skill set as a strong negotiator and entrepreneur at very young age.Her reputation as an aggressive negotiator on behalf of clients, has led to record breaking sales year over year, earning the coveted Top Producer distinction throughout her career.

Adding designations and specializations to her real estate education is evident of her willingness to work hard on her clients behalf and to inform them of the latest tendencies of the market.Specializing in Luxury homes and putting passion into practice she has procured the sales of incredible homes for clients and friends. Claudia reflects her genuine desire to help others and shares her knowledge with her clients. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has lived in Houston for 28 years. She is married to Alejandro Hellmund and mother of two wonderful sons.
