John was born and educated in England, where he earned an honors degree in economics from the University of Lancaster. He has owned multiple residential properties as renovation projects and ‘buy-to-let’ investments in southeast England and in New York prior to moving to Houston. John and his wife, a native Texan and graduate of Texas A & M University, are residents of Braes Heights and love living so close to Rice University, the Museum District and Rice Village restaurants and retail shops. A keen sportsman who enjoys playing golf and tennis regularly, John also has two grown children who are currently living in the UK.
