I was born and grew up in New York City, where I studied fashion design in the Art Institute in New York City. Upon moving to Puerto Rico, I worked as an operation manager in our family fashion designing and manufacturing business while I pursued my BBA and MBA in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and concentrated on mastering the Spanish language and culture. I later moved to Houston, Texas. In Houston I owned and operated an insurance agency. I have also worked in mergers and acquisitions, mortgage and lending and real estate.

James Selig is a native Galvestonian and a life-long resident of the Houston/Galveston area, and his real estate practice includes those two cities and points in between. Roy LeMelle graduated from Yates High School, attended Texas Southern, until he went into the Air Force. He is a Veteran. He retired from the Department of Defense, Vandenberg Air Force Base. He relocated to Southern California and obtained his real estate license and also passed the USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice). Roy LeMelle also did property management in Southern California. He eventually returned to Houston and obtained his real estate license in Texas.
