About Michael

Michael McSorley is an Army Veteran and a Master Certified Negotiation Expert based out of Houston, Texas. As the owner of McSorley Property Group, which is licensed through Keller Williams, he believes real estate isn't just about helping clients buy or sell homes, it's about seeing someone's dreams come true, all while streamlining the entire process for them so their experience can be as hassle-free and pleasant as possible.

A gifted communicator, Michael believes in keeping his clients in the loop on everything from start to finish in order to understand their needs fully and then fulfill those needs to the best of his ability. Known as an action-taker, he is always willing to go to bat on behalf of the people whom he serves, using the breadth of his knowledge and strategies to ensure that he gets the best end of any deal. Being a Veteran himself, Michael felt compelled to get his V.L.B. (Veteran Land Board) certification and Michael is one of only 523 Realtors, in the entire state of Texas, with a M.C.N.E. (Master Certified Negotiation Expert) certification from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. He is also a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Prior to the real estate world, Michael served as a Senior Negotiation Consultant where he assisted numerous Fortune 100 companies in effectively negotiating their multi-million dollar deals and teaching their Senior Level executives the ins and outs of negotiation.

When he isn't immersed in the real estate industry, Michael enjoys cooking delicious meals. Most importantly, he loves spending quality time with his family and friends (who are just like family). Michael is happily married to his lovely wife Jennifer and he is the proud father of two children, Connor and Kaleigh.

    His attitude and willingness to assist has helped him create relationships within the real estate community that lead to cooperation and smooth transactions with cooperating Brokers. Because they respect and trust his professionalism, and because they know he will work diligently to overcome obstacles, other agents are eager to show his listings – and listing agents encourage sellers to strongly consider his buyers offer.

    In the years in the real estate market has had its challenges. Each upswing and downturn has given Khan unique experience, and caused him to develop solutions and systems to help his clients in any market. Khan has never said “We can’t do that.” Instead, he says “How can we do that?” And then, no matter what his clients want or need, he sets out to find the right answer.

    Sellers experience Khan’s unique, proven, cutting-edge systems to get them maximum dollar. Khan also believes “The Right Home Sells Itself” and his buyers are treated with zero sales pressure. Khan likens a real estate transaction to an airplane ride – you’re apt to run into turbulence.     Leah Mudd arrived in Houston as a young teenager and has made the city her home ever since. After graduating from Katy High School and the University of Texas at Austin, Leah began her career as a teacher, a common thread among successful real estate sales associates. She later worked in telephone system sales and training, as a flight attendant and as an interior designer. A varied back ground, but one that prepared her well for her career in residential real estate sales. “These endeavors taught me so much about myself and people in general,” says Leah. “After being uprooted and moved to Texas just before my junior year in high school, I truly understand what my clients go through when they move to a new city, state or country. I am always willing to help them get what they need when they arrive, from a new cell phone, shopping at the mall, or finding a doctor. I’ve even picked up a pet rabbit at the airport!”

    Leah knows neighborhoods throughout Houston and is confident listing and selling from the Galleria to Katy, The Woodlands to Sugar Land, and points-in-between. She enjoys finding “just the right home or the perfect buyer” for her clients and then guiding them through the transaction process. Leah works hard to make her clients relaxed and confident, and to ensure that their expectations, whether they are sellers or buyers, are met and hopefully exceeded. She is patient and does not believe anyone should sell or purchase a home unless it really feels “right” to them. Leah stays informed about the Houston real estate market and trends, is focused and works efficiently, possesses excellent negotiation skills, and works as hard as it takes to achieve success for her clients.

    When not working, Leah enjoys remodeling houses, interior design, playing golf, cooking and spending time with her dogs. "After surviving a terrible car accident in 1981," says Leah, "I began to see life differently.     I became a licensed Realtor in 2009 after wanting to do so for most of my life. At the time I received my license I was still employed by a global corporation in the petroleum industry in technical managerial role. However, I truly desired to be in the real estate industry! So after receiving my license I started educating myself how to be the best realtor I could be because I knew eventually that was the direction that I wanted to take my career. It took a few years however in 2014 I was finally presented with the opportunity to do both, work in real estate part time while maintaining my position in global sales in the petroleum industry. Eventually becoming a full-time realtor in 2016.

    Since becoming a realtor I have furthered my education in the industry through classroom education earning both the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and the Graduate Real estate Institute (GRI) designations both of which have helped me represent my clients much better than I could have without them. I have also gained invaluable experience through representing many buyers and sellers in the last three years in both Fort Bend and Harris county regions. I intend to take the brokers test in early 2019.

    I have held a wide array of positions in my 35 year career technical, management and sales etc. Inasmuch, I have successfully lived in and many countries and worked with many people from many different cultural backgrounds around the world.

    I would like to utilize the many years of business experience that I have along with the multicultural experience that I have gained over the years to develop a very successful Real Estate practice that always puts the customer first! I am also an eight year Navy veteran!
