“I love moving families successfully through the real estate process to the closing table,” says Marsha Schenau. A broker associate and Accredited Buyer Representative, Marsha understands both personally and professionally how daunting the process can be without proper representation. “Having moved internationally – my family lived in Norway for five years – I am sensitive to the challenges presented to families and individuals by the relocation process,” says Marsha. “My goal is to minimize the stress and make a smooth transition for my clients, whether they are moving locally or across the globe, and I really enjoy guiding people through the process.”
Marsha likes to emphasize that working with every client is different and that she is always learning. “As a real estate broker,” says Marsha, “I value education.”
Born in Virginia and raised in Washington, D.C., Marsha graduated from the University of Maryland. Before her career in real estate, she moved to Houston to work for a multi-national corporation. Marsha later founded and was the president of a temporary placement firm for 15 years in north Houston. Always interested in real estate, she purchased her first investment property when she was 25.
When not selling real estate, Marsha enjoys singing in her church choir and teaching Sunday school with her husband. She and her husband, who is from Holland, are the parents of three adopted daughters from China who attend Awty International and The University of Texas at Austin. Marsha is an active volunteer for the Awty International School annual fund drive, the Awty Gala Committee, and Rice University International Students.
