Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker Tim Shanahan injects passion into his real estate practice. A fourth-generation Houstonian, Tim brings invaluable experience gained working for a well-known commercial real estate company negotiating complex contracts, leasing and office brokerage.

Tim graduated from St. Thomas High School and holds a degree in public relations from Texas State University. He is also a professionally-trained chef with a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Houston. Tim's educational background allows him to read his clients while providing impeccable service.

Tim uses local and national real estate resources to participate in ongoing professional education and has earned the Master Certified Negotiation Expert designation (MCNE). When not working he enjoys cooking for friends & family, hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his wife & two children. He and his wife also donate and volunteer much of their time supporting the ASPCA, Houston Humane Society and Red Collar Rescue charity.

Kristin Thomas isn't a native Houstonian, but you wouldn't know that if you met her. She likely owns more Astros gear than even the biggest fans, and if her Houston friends want to know where to find the best food or live music in the Bayou City, they ask her first!

After graduating from the University of Utah, Kristin spent more than 17 years under the bright lights of Vegas in the hospitality industry, building a solid foundation of customer service, marketing and sales. She moved with her husband, John, to Houston in 2017 and immersed herself in her work and her community. She brings her love of Houston to her work as a real estate agent, expertly maneuvering through the twists and turns of real estate with a calm demeanor and engaging spirit. Phil Monkhouse is former award-winning custom home builder now helping clients on the other end of the home building and buying process.


Phil owned a custom home building company for 7 years, so it's no surprise that he's a new home specialist. He built beautiful homes that were known for quality, functional layouts, style, innovative building techniques, and energy efficiency. Phil was recognized for his work as well as his leadership, as president of the local and district homebuilder's association.


Conscientious and level-headed, Phil pairs his construction knowledge with attention to detail to make sure his clients are getting the best value possible. He says, "I love new homes and staying on top of the trends, and I'm excited to share my experiences and knowledge with new home buyers."


When Phil decided to leave Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, he could have relocated anywhere in North America, but he picked Fort Bend because he believes in the present and future of the area.
