Because I grew up with a father who was always remodeling---and put my first hammer in my hands when I was six years old, I developed a love for real estate at a very early age. Having been transplanted to the Houston area in 1997, I learned firsthand the challenges of being a Relocation Buyer, which has given me the ability to support and understand my Relocation Clients on a very personal level. My Son, who is my working partner, and I also have a home remodeling and/or construction company, which affords my clients a different level of knowledge and insight that has proven to be invaluable. In addition, I am a professional/certified home stager, which comes in very handy as I assist my Clients who are preparing to sell their homes.

As a licensed Realtor in the Houston and Galveston areas since 2002, I have lived and worked in neighborhoods such as Piney Point Village, Memorial, The Historic Houston Heights and Inner Loop, as well as Galveston, and I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise. She has been married to Jerry for over 37 years, is the mother of Colby (Kara) Mueck, and Jaclyn (Brent) Reed, and the very proud grandmother of Mason, Travis, Brady, and Molly Mueck, and Sutter Reed.

Emily is a Realtor and the Director of Operations for Pool Realty Group. With over a decade of leadership in sales and client service, she brings unique experience to the team! She has served on global advisory boards, directed sales strategy and managed a large international sales team. Before joining Pool Realty Group, she managed logistics and administration for a global non-profit organization. A Minnesota native turned proud Texan, Emily has been a resident of the Houston area for 15 years. She is passionate about home ownership and educating new homebuyers, and believes a home you love and enjoy is a critical ingredient for families as they grow together. When she isn't managing all the things, she is usually found serving as a mom-chauffeur to her three children, ages 15, 12 and 11. I attended Texas A&M where I pursued a B.A in Marketing. I transitioned into residential real estate sales after a successful career in supply chain for the oil & gas industry where I worked cross-functionally with teams and customers alike. Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, I have grown into an interloop Houstonian who loves to be in the know of new restaurants, retail developments and outdoor entertainment! During my free time, I love to travel, read, work out and spend time with my family.

Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker Tim Shanahan injects passion into his real estate practice. A fourth-generation Houstonian, Tim brings invaluable experience gained working for a well-known commercial real estate company negotiating complex contracts, leasing and office brokerage.

He contributes his knowledge of the measure of the entire market, as well as strategy for moving and placing properties within the context of the neighborhood. This skill set is incredibly valuable to clients, especially potential home owners that are transitioning to different Houston neighborhoods or relocating in or out of the city.

Tim graduated from St. Thomas High School and holds a degree in public relations from Texas State University. He is also a professionally-trained chef with a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Houston. Tim's educational background allows him to read his clients while providing impeccable service.

Tim uses local and national real estate resources to participate in ongoing professional education and has earned the Master Certified Negotiation Expert designation (MCNE). When not working he enjoys cooking for friends & family, hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his wife & two children. He and his wife also donate and volunteer much of their time supporting the ASPCA, Houston Humane Society and Red Collar Rescue charity.
