Prior to his work in real estate, he served as an as an external auditor for Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as an internal auditor for a large oil and gas corporation. In his work as an auditor, he performed full scope audits of financial statements for large SEC and non-SEC clients, including companies in the global 500 and multinationals.

He is both a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas.
