Prior to real estate I was a CFISD teacher for 8 years. I have a degree in Hospitality Sales and Marketing and served clients in the hospitality industry for several years before teaching. Originally from San Antonio,TX, Mayra Lainez has lived on Galveston Island for 11 years. This has given her the opportunity to build an extensive network and build close relationships with local businesses and people. She became a licensed real estate agent in 2005 and again 2021, and is bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish). While Mayra enjoys showcasing the historical architecture and beach houses that the gulf coast has to offer, building relationships is her favorite part of being in real estate. She is also the owner of a local cleaning business, "Lana's Island Cleaning." In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, beach volleyball, and attending church on Sundays.
