As a buying agent, I educate my clients on the home buying process, listen attentively to their needs, wants, goals and time frame. Then research for those needs, show homes & negotiate the sale of the home, following through for a successful close!

With three years of experience in the real estate industry, Azi has quickly built a reputation for providing exceptional service, prioritizing her clients' needs, and showcasing a unique blend of loyalty, honesty, and determination. Azi returned to her roots and made the transition from the tech industry to real estate upon the advice of a good friend. After completing my studies at Texas A&M in 1995, I began cutting my teeth in the real estate industry. Through the journey that ensued, I gained valuable knowledge in the foundation repair, property management, home repair, investment property, electrical, and general construction sectors. Fast forward 2 decades, I'm able to utilize my diverse experience to better serve my clients in realizing their real estate dreams.

My clients benefit from my experience in these areas. I bring the integrity developed in my 28-year career with the U.S. Navy, where I retired as a Commander in 2012. As you may expect, I made many moves and prepared my own homes for sale during my time in service, so I can relate to what people are going through. I strive to pass along my hands-on experience as I help navigate my clients through the sales process, negotiations, & contract requirements.

Two things I love are helping people and getting a good deal. I get to do both as a Realtor with eXp Realty. I'm excited about the opportunity to share my abilities of guiding people through complex processes, conducting research & analysis, and negotiating good deals for those who have all sorts of Real Estate needs. What makes my job so fulfilling is the aha moment at closing when the final papers are signed. You can hear the excitement in a client's voice, or see the thankful look on their face, when they realize the deal is done and the home is actually bought and sold. In my spare time I am working on renovating our home, caring for elderly parents, and grooming Miniature Schnauzer show dogs. My other interests include Aviation, Scuba diving, Sailing, and playing board games with my family to name a few.

Renovating our home has reminded me of what it is like for my clients: looking for quality service to get a job done in the desired timeframe, starting the process with the end in mind, and accomplishing all the tasks until the job is done. For the client, it centers around being and feeling heard, and for me, it's about providing essential help for the client to achieve their goals.

A passion for real estate and a commitment to excellence are the driving forces that continue to inspire Dru Mims as a successful Broker Associate at EXP Realty. For the past 21+ years, Dru has built a loyal following of clients, many of whom have become close friends.

As a third-generation Houstonian, Dru specializes in the Inner Loop areas of the city, where she has lived and worked for over 29 years. She holds the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation in recognition of her experience, knowledge and expertise in the luxury home market.

Extensive experience in corporate relocation, has given her the joy of meeting clients from all over the world and introducing them to the city she loves. Having lived in several major US cities, including New York, where she studied design at the School of Visual Arts, Dru has first-hand experience of the relocation process.

In her personal life, Dru enjoys traveling both internationally and domestically with her husband, Kerry. They also share a love of cooking and entertaining, as well as the rich cultural environment that Houston has to offer. When they are not working, they can be found spending time with their three rescue Huskies, Duke, Duchess and Daisy.
