Coming from a successful career in human resources (HR), she understands the value of a personal connection and the importance of growing that connection into a long-standing relationship. When her oil and gas company's work environment changed due to Covid-19, she took the opportunity to make a long-desired career change into residential real estate sales.
"I've wanted to be a Realtor for a long time," Breann says. "As a child, my parents would take me to open houses nearly every Sunday. I love this industry because it allows me to continue in a people-facing role and apply the communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills honed in HR."
Attentive and friendly with a strong eye for details and design, Breann works with sellers and buyers in all price ranges and most areas of Houston and the surrounding region. She thrives in the fast-paced real estate environment which, she says, keeps her "organized, even while multi-tasking," and loves to meet and exceed her clients' goals.
Originally from Tulsa, OK, Breann has been a Houstonian since her junior high school years in the Cinco Ranch community. Before graduating from the University of Houston, she worked at Chapelwood Methodist Church in Piney Point Village in the children's ministry where she taught Sunday school classes for pre-k and kindergarten. When her schedule allows, she enjoys time with her family, biking, tennis, working out, and almost any outdoor activity.
I have been assisting clients with marketing, selling and purchasing residential real estate in the West and Northwest Houston area since 1999. My experience in both new home and resale marketing and sales puts me in a unique position to assist clients with their individual home needs.

Forging long-term client relationships is at the core of Monica's approach. No transaction is ever a one-and-done deal. Rather Monica focuses on earning her clients' trust, loyalty, and friendship. Monica's long-standing clients include residential buyers and sellers, investors, and builders, many of whom she has represented on multiple transactions. Monica attributes this to her stellar negotiation skills, integrity, and expert knowledge of the Houston market.
Growing up the granddaughter of a builder, real estate was a natural next step for Monica after she retired from a successful career as an appellate attorney. Monica graduated cum laude from Dedman College of Law (Southern Methodist University) where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, named a Hutchison Fellow (full merit scholarship), and was an editor of the SMU Law Review. She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her family and three fur babies. She enjoys Sudoku, Vinyasa Yoga, and attending performances of the Houston Grand Opera. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet and various performing arts organizations.
