Her parents moved to the United States from Tehran, Iran right before the 1979 revolution and their family members were dispersed around the world. Having close friends and family members around the world taught her a lot about culture and open mindedness at a very young age.
Naseem and her husband are active members of St. Luke's Methodist Church and they enjoy anything outdoors including running, tennis, hiking, and skiing.
