Prior to my career in real estate, I worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center for over five years, and later taught middle school reading, writing, and served as a leader in Special Education for years. I credit my time in those careers to learning how to build meaningful relationships, and to honing my skills in communication. My passion for helping others continues to extend into my real estate career! I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Business, an English Language Arts/Reading Education Certification for Grades 4-8, and a K-12 Special Education Certification. Family, caring for the elderly, and being a great example to today's youth hold a special place in my life. I am committed to making a difference in the lives of others!

Onyinyechi Onyii Brown is excited to serve her Houston community. Born in Nigeria before moving to Massachusetts at age 3, Onyii is a first-generation immigrant who graduated with a marketing degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduating, she moved to Houston in 2003, where she ran Onyii & Co. a very successful fashion business for seven years. She has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Houstonia, The Houston Chronicle as well as numerous other publications in Texas for her achievements. With an eye for aesthetic and love for design and architecture Onyii decided to transition from a career in fashion to pursue a career in real estate. Onyii has proven that intense drive, passion, and dedication are enough to grow and thrive in any industry. Onyii has been able to assist numerous buyers purchase property within days on the market. Even still, Onyii is driven by a genuine desire to help people build wealth through real estate and find a home that fits their personal style. For the last 15 years, I have been serving on the board of several diverse nonprofit organizations. I have a Fashion& Entertainment production company JaZ CreationZ. By putting grand shows in Houston and serving by raising funds for many nonprofit organizations, I have gained trust in people. Helping people is in my DNA. I can serve my clients by keeping them FIRST.

To treat human beings the same way I would like to be treated is my general philosophy in life. I enjoy working with people and is my pleasure to represent sellers and buyers in their real estate needs. I was born in Puerto Rico and came to Texas in 1982. For many years I worked for financial institutions which I also enjoyed very much. The Real Estate industry was and is one business field that fascinates me; enough motivation to change my professional career.

I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Houston, I have also earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation and continously updating my skills and knowledge in the Real Estate Industry.

Living and working in Texas has given me the oportunity to work with a very much diversified population. It is very interesting to learn about different cultures and people's values; this has helped me to develop the necessary skills to reach more sellers and buyers.

The "green realtor" is what I call myself since I use every oportunity I get to promote energy conservation and recycling. It will be nice to have the state and local governments not only promote, enforce and teach us about it but also to create and facilitate ways for people to participate.
