The most recent being a Reading Buddy to help second grade children read at grade level and be successful in school. Currently I volunteer with the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program. I teach middle and high school kids horticulture and help them maintain their gardens. I am a member of the Texas Master Gardener Association and am on the Harris County Master Gardener Association's Board of Directors. I love bird watching, gardening and generally just being outdoors. I'm also a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

Laura graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor's in Organizational Communications. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and continues to be involved with Houston's Alumni Chapter. Community is very important to Laura and she has enjoyed her many volunteer opportunities through the years proudly volunteering for West U Elementary, River Oaks Baptist School, St. John's School, Lamar High School Booster Club, West U Little League, and Southwest Football League.

My name is Mohamad Aboutaha, but all my friends and family call me Moe. A little bit about myself, I am a hardworking individual who moved to the United States from Beirut, Lebanon in 2013.
