Krista launched her apartment locating career in 2009 with a radio commercial in which she promoted Aggieland Apartment Finders. Her radio debut jump started her real estate career, in which she assisted fellow Aggies in finding apartment deals in and around campus. After college, she planted her roots in Houston and applied her skills to the Greater Houston rental market. Krista is passionate about hospitality, which is why she thoroughly enjoys showing clients all that Houston has to offer in what has become one of the most thriving markets for furnished and unfurnished apartments. Her customer-centric focus, combined with her excellent work ethic and friendly demeanor, make her a professional from start to finish. Krista is married to her husband, Kurt, and loves being a mom to her daughter. Julie, a native Houstonian who grew up in the Memorial area, joined Compass Real Estate in February 2020. Julie began her real estate career in 2008 and quickly climbed the ranks to become a Top Producer with over $40MM in sales in 2022.

As a child, Julie was fascinated by the architecture and design of beautiful houses all around her in the city of Houston. Her passion for homes remains and fuels her career as a Realtor®, along with extensive knowledge of Houston's neighborhoods and an eye for interior design and has worked in construction on numerous homes. Julie's broad client base includes, growing families, couples who are downsizing, and first-time home buyers.

Julie has three precious children Anna, Tucker, and Travis. Julie enjoys spending her free time meeting new people, entertaining in her home, and getting together with family and friends. She is a dedicated volunteer at her children's schools Condit Elementary, Pin Oak Middle School, and her Temple Emanuel El. Julie graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2005. After college, she worked in marketing and inside sales before transitioning into residential real estate. Julie is always at the center of things both socially and professionally, as she is seen as a trusted advisor by many of her friends and neighbors. A resident of Pine Shadows for over 27 years, Annie focuses her marketing in Tanglewood and surrounding neighborhoods. She is very experienced in helping relocation clients and assists clients throughout the Houston metropolitan area. Annie is a consistent top producer who is recognized in the industry for outstanding production.

Annie has done everything in real estate from on-site sales for a condominium conversion in downtown Houston to managing a real estate firm for nine years. However, her first love is helping clients sell and purchase their homes – just as it was when she started her career over 14 years ago. “I find it very rewarding to match the needs of a client to just the right house,” Annie says. “Over the years many clients have become personal friends. My interest in them is not merely as their agent but reflects genuine concern for them as individuals. Once you have established a relationship with clients regarding such a personal and important transaction as buying or selling a home you want to preserve that relationship in order to help them in the future.”

Customer service is paramount for Annie. “My husband and I previously owned a well-known freelance court reporting firm for twenty-plus years and I learned that service is king - regardless of the product,” she says.

Annie is a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in the Memorial Park area and serves on the pastoral council. She has chaired the annual fundraiser for the church and school. Annie loves to cook and entertains with frequent dinner parties for family and friends. She and her husband collect art and enjoy visiting art galleries and museums.

Emelie Mavligit brings a native Houstonian's outlook and understanding of the city and its residents to her career in real estate sales with Compass Real Estate. Growing up in West University, Emelie has a close attachment to the neighborhood and the neighborhoods of Houston proper.


Graced with an outgoing personality, Emelie is a go-getter who is at the same time extremely meticulous and organized. A previous, 10-year career in marketing, public relations and event planning honed her communications skills and gives her excellent marketing savvy and an enviable list of resources to call upon. "I am very service oriented and enjoy being a concierge for my clients," Emelie says. "I have also worked in the oil and gas industry for several years and have an excellent grasp of the economic impact any change in that sector has on the city and how it translates to the housing market."


While juggling a full work schedule, Emelie finds time to give back to the community. She volunteers for HOPE, Houston's Homeless & Orphaned Pets Endeavor, the American Cancer Society, and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.


Emelie attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts for dance as well as Mirabeau B. Lamar High School. She received a BA in communications, with an emphasis in public relations and marketing, from the University of Houston.
