With his military and medical background, saying that Alex Lopez is adept at handling challenges and stress is a vast understatement. But Alex also knows how to slow down he thrives when caring for people and building new relationships with them, and he loves doing this through real estate. Originally from McAllen, Texas, Alex served in the United States Navy from 1995 to 1999. He has an associate degree from Houston Community College and attended the University of Houston. Alex earned his EMT certification in 2002 and transferred to the medical field, where he helped administer treatment from inside ambulances to emergency rooms. Alex was drawn to real estate because he wanted to educate people about it. He didn't have the same advantage when he purchased his first home, so he's especially passionate about guiding first-time buyers. Alex's military experience is a staunch symbol of his pride, which affects every aspect of his life. Personal and professional progress are daily themes for Alex along with valuing detail, which he's highly skilled at. Alex has lived in Houston since 1994. Although his career leaves him with little extra time, he's determined to spend it with his wife and kids. It was in the field of real estate, however, that she found her true calling, becoming an associate of Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty and receiving her "Circle of Excellence" designation. Rochelle was recognized in 2005 for having the highest average sales of any agent in the company.
Respecting clients’ wishes and listening to what they really want are skills that have endeared her to her clients; they keep coming back and referring her to their friends. Many clients have become friends.
Rochelle grew up in Dallas, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Texas, married and raised three children. During her children’s formative years, Rochelle was very active in their schools, St. Johns and Kinkaid. After the children were older, she received her Masters degree at the University of Houston in clinical psychology and worked in the medical center for a group of psychiatrists. Skills she learned as a clinical psychologist have served her well in the real estate industry. She thoroughly enjoys being with the public and helping them in their happiest time…buying a home.
Having lived in Houston most of her life she has a working knowledge of most areas including River Oaks, Tanglewood, West University, Medical Center, Museum District as well as many outlying areas. She has even worked with clients on their “weekend retreats” in the Woodlands, Fort Bend, and Texas Hill Country.
Rochelle has chaired the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala and presently serves on the Development Board of Texas Children’s Hospital as well as being affiliated with many other charitable organizations. She enjoys skiing in Colorado and traveling the world.
