Before moving to Houston, I lived in Austin, where I started my family and involved in the community volunteering and Chairing various fundraising events. My passion for real estate started when I lived in Aspen, Malibu and San Francisco.

My home has been in Houston for the past 20 years and love all the city has to offer. As an esteemed member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, I am devoted to providing unparalleled service and creating long-lasting client-agent relationships.

When I'm not working, I enjoy trying out different recipes , working out, reading, new restaurants, and listening to live music as time allows.

Barbara Mujica is a passionate real estate advocate driven to help Houston homebuyers exceed their goals. Before real estate, Barbara sharpened her sales, account management and networking skills working in medical sales for eight years. With a love of design, architecture and helping people, real estate was her natural next step. Originally from Costa Rica, Barbara resided in Miami before making her home in Houston's Oak Forest neighborhood, where she loves the strong sense of community and friendly people. When she's not hard at work with clients, she can be found spending time with her husband, young daughter and the family Labradoodle.

Growing up the granddaughter of a builder, real estate was a natural next step for Monica after she retired from a successful career as an appellate attorney. Monica graduated cum laude from Dedman College of Law (Southern Methodist University) where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, named a Hutchison Fellow (full merit scholarship), and was an editor of the SMU Law Review. She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.



In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her family and three fur babies. She enjoys Sudoku, Vinyasa Yoga, and attending performances of the Houston Grand Opera. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet and various performing arts organizations.
