She worked side-by-side for 31 years with her late husband, Jim Shindler, in their Houston real estate company. The Shindler's handled residential and commercial properties, property management, and property development. Betty loves every aspect of real estate from assisting buyers to find their dream home to guiding sellers through the process of preparing, marketing and selling or buying their home. Betty is a member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church.
When not working, Betty, a high-rise condominium resident, spends as much time as possible with her son and grandsons. She enjoys at the beach or in the mountains, exercises, reads, and listens to music.
