Driven. Detailed. Dependable. These are just three words clients frequently use to describe top agent Tommy Kanarellis. Though he's traveled around the world over a dozen times and lived everywhere from Santa Barbara to Singapore, Houston is where he's always felt most at home. In 2003, Tommy put down roots in the city and began pursuing his dreams of working in real estate.
It was here Tommy spent over a decade operating a mortgage company that originated commercial and residential loans as well as doing contracting work for various projects. Seven years ago, Tommy shifted his focus slightly and became an agent, immediately falling in love with the chance to connect with people all over the globe.
Tommy's financial background affords him a valuable skillset and unique perspective when it comes to real estate. Tommy knows that real estate is, for many people, the largest financial transaction they'll ever encounter. The responsibility to guide and assist them through the process is one he takes seriously.
Instead of being intimidated by this pressure, however, Tommy thrives under it. He relishes the opportunity to tackle the individual challenges each project offers and is excited by the knowledge that no two deals are exactly alike. Tommy constantly pushes himself to keep growing and learning so that he may make his clients' journeys smoother and more efficient.
This ambitious attitudealong with his top-of-the-line builder/developer services and knowledge of the competitive and dynamic marketmakes Tommy the perfect fit for those who are interested in buying and selling high-rises. In addition to his expertise, Tommy's combination of personability and professionalism attracts clients seeking a trusted advisor.
Up and coming Realtor Breann Baird believes in face-to-face communication whenever possible. Coming from a successful career in human resources (HR), she understands the value of a personal connection and the importance of growing that connection into a long-standing relationship. When her oil and gas company's work environment changed due to Covid-19, she took the opportunity to make a long-desired career change into residential real estate sales.
"I've wanted to be a Realtor for a long time," Breann says. "As a child, my parents would take me to open houses nearly every Sunday. I love this industry because it allows me to continue in a people-facing role and apply the communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills honed in HR."
Attentive and friendly with a strong eye for details and design, Breann works with sellers and buyers in all price ranges and most areas of Houston and the surrounding region. She thrives in the fast-paced real estate environment which, she says, keeps her "organized, even while multi-tasking," and loves to meet and exceed her clients' goals.
Originally from Tulsa, OK, Breann has been a Houstonian since her junior high school years in the Cinco Ranch community. Before graduating from the University of Houston, she worked at Chapelwood Methodist Church in Piney Point Village in the children's ministry where she taught Sunday school classes for pre-k and kindergarten. When her schedule allows, she enjoys time with her family, biking, tennis, working out, and almost any outdoor activity.

While some may joke that he is the "dinosaur" in the business due to his decades of hard work and keen professional insight to the local and global real estate market, Hedley considers his experience and his long-curated network of industry experts, vendors, and clients past and present to be his greatest assets. Though the real estate industry has undergone many changes throughout Hedley's long career, one unwavering constant has been the stellar feedback he has received from buyers and collaborators who appreciate Hedley's focus, diligence, and determination to make the client's experience happy and gratifying. After getting his real estate license while at UT Austin, Hedley put himself through school selling residential real estate and hasn't looked back. In 1991, Hedley opened Karpas Properties which, according to the 2007 Houston Business Journal, became Houston's fourth largest independent real estate brokerage, with a sales team of more than 60 full-time associates. Karpas Properties soon demanded the attention of trailblazing Houston real estate icon Martha Turner and the companies merged. This allowed Hedley to retire his management duties and return to his true first calling: working directly with clients to buy and sell their homes. Thanks to his respected history and ability to adapt with the times, Hedley has since conducted over 300 million dollars in sales volume at the company, now named Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty, where he is a member of the Circle of Excellence and has reached Top Producer status, both in the company and city-wide, for the last 10 years. Make no bones about it, this "dinosaur" continues to leave an indelible and enduring footprint on the Houston real estate scene.
