Lisa Baer has been assisting Houstonians in the purchase and sale of their dream homes since 1980. She came to residential real estate after having been a certified public accountant and having attended the University of Houston Law School. Lisa realized that she had “found her home” in selling other people their homes. “I love the people aspect of the business. You really get to know the buyers and sellers during the process and many become life-long friends. I have helped one family with five purchases and sales, and I have represented the seller or the buyer in five transactions relating to one particular home.”

Specializing in a small area of Inner Loop neighborhoods consisting of Southside, West University, Old Braeswood, Southampton, Southgate, Bellaire, and River Oaks for over 20 years has enabled Lisa to become an expert in these neighborhoods. Additionally, having held open houses on most Sundays for 20+ years-often two per Sunday, Lisa has met many families in the neighborhoods she services. “People frequently call me and say, ‘I met you two to five years ago at an open house and knew I would work with you when I was ready. Please come look at my home. I’m ready to sell.’”

Lisa enjoys seeing people create their dream homes by both renovating older homes and building new homes. She has worked with several builders over the years and with respect to one builder-Heritage Home Builders I Ltd.-has sold 17 homes. She has renovated several homes for her family and loves seeing new life breathed into older homes. “It’s so exciting to see the before and the after.”

Lisa has been one of the top three agents at Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty for the past five years and is a member of the Circle of Excellence Hall of Fame. She has also been on the Houston Business Journal's List of Top 25 Agents Citywide during each year since its inception in 1996. Mike has volunteered as an in-home Hospice patient volunteer for more than eight years. He has been a baseball and softball coach as well as serving as a board member for the local Little League. He has been president for Young Executive of the Wholesale Distributors Association and the American Supply Association. He also volunteered for 10 years with the Houston Marathon's Elite Athlete Committee.

When not working, he enjoys attending Astro and Texans games. He is an adamant outdoorsman, with a love for fishing and playing golf.
