Personal Information:

My Family and I have lived in and served the greater Houston area since 1968. My extended Family has been around the Houston area since the mid-1800's. I have served on both the MBA Council of Houston, Houston World Affairs Council, the Technology Advisory Board, and the MLS Advisory Board for HAR. My volunteer work Includes The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where I have been a volunteer since 2004, The Houston Food Bank. Impact Club, The Sunshine Kids Foundation, and Amberly's Home.

She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.



In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her family and three fur babies. She enjoys Sudoku, Vinyasa Yoga, and attending performances of the Houston Grand Opera. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet and various performing arts organizations.
