She has a Masters degree in Licensed Professional Counseling and a Bachelors in Human Growth and Development, she recently left her job working with underprivileged children as a behavioral therapist to pursue her passion of working in Real Estate in the Houston market. Carol Rowley began her real estate career many years ago when she joined DeForest Realty in Georgia. After moving to Houston she worked for prominent real estate and tax attorneys and later joined Bolin Development Corp. where she worked in the commercial real estate sector. During her years in Houston she's lived in the West University, Southgate, Bellaire, Braes Heights and the Galleria area, giving her first hand knowledge of the Houston market. Raising 3 children and volunteering at West U Elementary, River Oaks Baptist School, Lanier Middle School and Lamar High School, immersed Carol in a wonderful community of people and a greater connection and understanding of the town she adores. Her perseverance is shown through her tireless work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where she has dedicated more than 20 years in the search for a cure for this disease. Carol was recently selected as an honoree for the JDRF Promise Ball where she was presented with the Living and Giving Award for her advocacy, leadership and commitment. JDRF selected Carol as Chair of the JDRF Children's Congress, a national event in Washington, DC created to lobby the government for additional funding. As the Chair, she worked personally with 200 families representing all 50 states in order to introduce them to their Congressmen and United States Senators. She not only provides service to the Houston community, but also individuals throughout the United States.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Texas in Austin, Carolyn returned to Houston. She soon found an outlet for her love of older homes as she embarked upon what was to become a lifetime avocation: the purchase, restoration and sale of older homes.

Throughout her career, Carolyn has donated significant hours to community, civic and church organizations. She was a member of The Blue Bird Circle, taught Sunday school at First Presbyterian Church and served as a volunteer in her children’s schools. When not working, Carolyn enjoys going to the movies, reading biographies and design magazines, playing tennis, and “interacting with puppies of any sort!” Carolyn is the mother of a son and daughter and grandmother to three grandchildren. As a young woman, Carolyn flew her own fixed-wing, single-engine Cessna aircraft, and the genes have transferred to her son, a captain in the United States Marine Corps who flies the Huey helicopter.
