When not at work, Karen spends her time with her beloved husband, children and grandchildren. Karen currently volunteers her time as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family Service, as a current member (and two-time President) of the Women's City Club, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (and former member of the JDRF board), and as a member of the Bunker Hill Elementary School Community Improvement Team, having previously served on the Community Improvement Teams for Frostwood Elementary School and Spring Branch Middle School and as a former member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Beth Israel.

I moved inside the loop of Houston 14 years ago and absolutely love the city. However, I was born and raised on Galveston Island an hour away, a vastly different place than the city. I love both these communities and have the insight to both worlds; the city life and the beach life. I use my personal knowledge of both these places to help my clients buy and sell their perfect home.

I am also a former educator and believe in continuing education. It helps me to be a better agent for you! It has also shaped my core beliefs which are helping others. Saharr Ghanimi is more than just a realtor. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, she realized

that in real estate she could take what she had learned to help people with one of life's most monumental

challenges: finding their way home. Six years later this remains her motivation in life as well as in business.
