She is the newly appointed 2021-2023 Regent of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Comfort Wood Chapter, Vice President of the ESD 3, a taxing entity board, Board of Directors of the ARC of Wharton and Location Leader for Wreaths Across America. She was named State of Texas Citizen of the Year by the Texas DAR, and appointed as an Admiral in the Texas Navy by Govenor Rick Perry. She organized and had voted into law, four Texas Memorial Highways, and in 2023 , she received the Yellow Rose of Texas Commission by the Governor of Texas.
