Minnie Criado distinguished herself as the first Hispanic licensed Escrow Officer, in the city of Houston in 1971 and in 1972 became one of the first Title Company Branch Managers.Her southwest located offices, served Harris and Fort Bend Counties. In 1986, she founded R.E.A.L. (Real Estate Association Latinos) , an organization for professionals of all real estate related services. In 1992, she opened the first woman operated title company fee office in Houston. The fee office, located on San Felipe, was owned by her husband, Atty. and Law Professor Tony Criado in affiliation with Regency Title Co until his death in 1997. In 2001, she brought all her years of experience, to the commercial and residential real estate industry. Minnie is a University of Texas alumna.
