A native Houstonian and a proud graduate of University of Houston and Texas Woman's University in which she received her Bachelor's in Finance and Marketing and MBA, respectively. She started her career working for leading technology, pharmaceutical and oil firms. After more than a decade in corporate roles, she decided to follow her hidden passion for real estate. In college, Dawan was reintroduced to real estate, serving as an advisory consultant for a multi-family real estate development company headquartered in China, where he masterfully developed their business and management operations. After returning to the Bayou City in 2008, Dawan later attended Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Science and Technology. He currently resides in Third Ward, where he has a deep appreciation for the architecture of the homes in his neighborhood. As a volunteer member of the Emancipation Park Conservancy, Dawan is passionate about giving back to the community he loves. He enjoys dancing and discovering the unique features of the Houston landscape that are often overlooked. What Dawan loves most about Houston is that it is a haven for new opportunities, just as it was for his family over 40 years ago when they moved to the city.
