Richard J Short is a native Houstonian who has been a licensed realtor in Texas since the late 1970's. His knowledge of the real estate industry scans decades, and began with him watching his dad sell new homes for Westbury Corporation in the late 1950's. His extensive knowledge of the real estate industry, residential home construction and residential mortgage lending has served his clients well throughout the years. As always, he embraces "the client's interest first at all times", and realizes that there are personal sacrifices to be made in making a deal happen.

Steven is a real estate specialist and proud native Houstonian who found his passion in real estate at a young age. Fun Fact While pursuing his education, Steven co-founded Resthetics, a medical device company that captures and recycles anesthetic gases in hospital operating rooms before they are released into the atmosphere. His team raised over XXXk in seed capital funding from VCs and business plan competitions.

After 2017, Steven withdrew his position due to FDA regulations and co-founded a global digital marketing firm that delivers growth to existing businesses through web traffic + foot traffic. His team has been featured in the AMA's Crystal Awards as the "Top Marketer of the Year" and is known for creative marketing projects like the Biscuit Paint Wall that used to be at Headquarters in EADO.

Melodie (Jordan) Hartsfield is one of the thousands of transplants that now call the Space City home, moving to Houston in the summer of 2007. Melodie attended college at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2006 and becoming a licensed realtor upon graduation. Melodie spent the first 2 years of her career working at Newmark Knight Frank as a Marketing Analyst, and learning the real estate business from some of Houston's finest. Melodie has since taught in Houston public schools, but she has maintained a knowledge of Houston's fast paced and competitive real estate market. Lara is a fourth generation Houstonian who grew up in Spring Valley and Memorial. She attended the University of Houston and Texas A&M University. Lara is married and has two adult sons, one of whom, Trey Nesmith, is a Realtor and has worked alongside Lara for many years as her working partner.

Richard hosts an annual Diaper Drive in December for the Houston Area Women's Center which has collected just over 265,000 Diapers since 2013.  He led the team that initiated an annual event at the Houston Food Bank in honor of the 9/11 National Day of Service that by its 5th year reached over 1,000 volunteers on one day.  He has served on the United Way Young Leaders Council and is a graduate of the UW Project Blueprint program.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the UH Bauer College Alumni Association, UH Hispanic Alumni Association and ALPFA - Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and chaired the Public Relations Committee for the Houston CPA Society.  He has mentored several UH students through the UH Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) Mentorship Program.  He has served in many volunteer capacities for various nonprofits including (Big Brothers and Big Sisters, I Have a Dream, Ronald McDonald House) and a court appointed advocate for Child Advocates.  He has also completed numerous marathons and 2 Ironman Triathlons.
