A resident of Houston since the mid-1970s, Phyllis hails from Memphis, TN. Prior to her successful career selling residential real estate she was a property manager for more than 20 years and managed portfolios for investors all over the world. “That experience allowed me to develop a wide range of communication skills to include investors in Class-A as well as low-income properties,” she says. “From $20,000 to $20 million – as Martha likes to say!”

A strong believer in thinking outside the box to get a deal done, Phyllis enjoys problem solving. “Making things happen, every day is a new day – and, most importantly, every client becomes a friend,” she says. “I enjoy every moment of what I do, especially educating my clients to the market. I love guiding my sellers to determine market value for their home, and finding a home that’s a great match for my buyers.”

When not working, Phyllis volunteers her time as a Friend of Ronald McDonald House. “I’m into everything for Ronald McDonald House – preparing evening meals, filling Santa’s House, and working on fund raisers. I was the chairperson of the 2014 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun fundraiser, an all-women event. The smiles from the children we help and the looks of comfort on their parents’ faces are priceless gifts.”

Phyllis adores cooking, trying new wines and traveling “anywhere there’s water.” Her son and daughter-in-law live in Northern California where he raises organic vegetables and is a well-known caterer. Phyllis enjoys going there every few months as grandmother to two young granddaughters. Phyllis also claims an extended family of two young grandchildren, two sons who are doctors, a daughter in the film industry, and a son who is a professional barista.

Scott brings a diverse entrepreneurial and financial background to his real estate career: Contract Coordinator for foreign military sales at McDonnell Douglas Corporation; Director of Project Finance for a real estate development company; PC Software Developer for his own copyright; Director of Information Technology for a multinational consulting firm; and owner/operator of a title search company for 12 years. “All of this groomed me well to become a successful real estate professional, having dealt with contracts, financing and title issues,” Scott says. “Real estate is the only profession I know which makes full use of my knowledge and experience.”

Born in Washington, D.C., Scott spent the first half of his life abroad in Europe, Asia and Africa. He returned to the United States and earned a degree in Finance from New York University. “My extensive overseas travels and fluency in French give me a world view which enables me to identify with people from all walks of life, cultures, and socio-economic levels,” Scott points out. A resident of the Memorial area, Scott assists buyers and sellers in many neighborhoods across the Greater Houston area.

When not working, Scott enjoys boating (sail or motor), going to restaurants, and cooking. He is the father of an adult son who attended St Francis Episcopal School, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Before entering the Real Estate world, Courtney received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Elon University. She had a successful career in the world of Broadway, starring in two National Tours and the 2013 Broadway production of Jekyll & Hyde at the Marquis Theatre in New York City. She is still a proud member of the Houston theatrical community, starring in productions at Theatre Under the Stars, the Alley Theatre, and Stages Repertory Theater. She also is a frequent soloist for the Houston Symphony in their POPS concerts at Jones Hall. I have enjoyed the great pleasure of living in one of the most diverse, friendly and international cities in the world: Houston! Where else can you find fabulous restaurants, great entertainment, warm and friendly people, top quality schools, beautiful parks, cool architecture? I know......you might be thinking of several exciting world cities but I truly love Houston and I'm proud to work daily for my clients, helping them buy and sell Real Estate all over the metroplex. Most of my days are spent working with my wonderful clients, preparing homes to go on the market, chatting with other individuals in the realm of real estate, reading over home inspection reports, viewing homes, negotiating contracts, putting a SOLD sign on a lawn or passing keys over to ecstatic new home owners.
