I am proud to say I am a native Houstonian. I have been a resident of the Houston area for 40 years. I am a graduate of the outstanding Katy I.S.D. school system and a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Communications/Advertising.
In my previous career, I was an Account Executive for The Houston Post newspaper. I have been married for over 30 years and have two wonderful children.

Kim is a long-time resident of the Memorial area, where she and her husband raised their twin boys who attended Second Baptist School and graduated from Baylor University and Texas A&M University. Both boys are working in Houston. Kim enjoys spending time with her family at their farm, antiquing and decorating. Kim's true passion is in animal rescue, she is an avid volunteer with Dogs and Design and Mile High Lab Mission.

Marcie Laird Ehmann is a lifelong Houstonian who grew up in Cypress, graduating from Cypress Creek High School. She worked in residential real estate from 2000 to 2005 before leaving for a management career in Human Resources.
