Later, she joined HFF where she worked in loan servicing for commercial properties. From there, she began a career as an analyst at a midstream oil and gas company. Erik is a fifth-generation Houstonian, a graduate of The Kinkaid School and an Eagle Scout. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
