As Director of Relocation and Operations for Bernstein Realty, Mary Piper manages the company’s Relocation Department and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.

As Relocation Director, she works first hand with corporations and third party relocation management companies to assist with both the home finding and home marketing needs of relocating individuals and families. Mary oversees the Relocation Team and works closely with the agents at Bernstein Realty to ensure the relocation process is a smooth and successful one.

Mary has broadened her duties with Bernstein Realty since joining the company in 2000, first working in the Property Management department then most recently serving as the Operations & Property Manager for the company. Mary oversees and remains very involved in the Property Management department.

In her role in the day-to-day operations of the company, Mary manages the company’s support staff and makes certain that the office runs smoothly. She is active in recruiting new agents and instrumental in the company’s growth.

Aside from her responsibilities at Bernstein Realty, Mary is also very active in the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation (NOMF). The Foundation was founded in the name and honor of one of Houston’s most beloved members of the real estate community, Nancy Owens, who lost her battle with breast cancer in September 2001. NOMF is dedicated to yearly fundraising activities that benefit cancer research.

In December of 2006, Mary, along with the entire Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation committee, was presented with the John E. Wolf Citizenship Cup Award by the Houston Association of Realtors. This prestigious award is given to a member who has made outstanding contributions to the community.

Mary moved to Houston with her family in 1995. As an expatriate she knows relocation first hand. Mary was born in England and has lived in Libya, Holland and Scotland.

Kaysie Smashey is a proud Texan! She grew up in El Paso and attended college at the University of Texas. She began her real estate career in San Angelo and then moved to Houston, saving the best for last! Kaysie graduated with University Honors with a degree in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. She was recruited and competed on the UT women tennis team for four years, earning Academic All-American status and multiple All-Big 12 Conference First Team Awards. Following college, she continued playing on the professional tour and eventually worked as a head tennis professional. Midst this excitement, Kaysie discovered her love for real estate, investing and renovating several homes while helping others find their first and/or forever home. Since 2006, she earned the respect and trust of her clients, always displaying integrity and grit for her people. In her free time, you can find her playing tennis, golfing, or looking for Mr. Right. (or spending time with her five nieces and nephew).

Early in my career I was an Insurance Agent with a strong focus on property and casualty as well as an insurance Risk Inspector. Further in my career I was a Mortgage Loan Officer with my own independent office in Humble Texas for over 10 years. I currently own a full-service remodeling company and have extensive experience working with investment properties for my clients as well as my own. I served as a board member on the Women's Counsel of Realtors for 3 Years as well a proud volunteer and Donor for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I love Referrals, 90% of my business is referred to me from prior clients.

Kalee says, in Real Estate, it's all about the relationships you create and about the love and care you pour into them. Kalee has a strong drive to seek out answers and solutions for all obstacles that may come her clients' way. With her down-to-earth attitude and straight-forward style of doing business, Kalee's ongoing goals are to connect the right sellers and buyers to maximize the experience for whichever party she is representing.

In her free time, Kalee enjoys giving back to her community through various philanthropy events and meeting other local needs. She also enjoys pursuing a positive lifestyle through working out, dancing, yoga and other outdoor activities as well as spending quality time with close and new friends.
