About Darla



Darla earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and while there published an article The La Grange Chicken Ranch Revisited. This article would win her the 2nd place upper division in the C.M. Caldwell Memorial Award. Presenting the award to her was the infamous news reporter, Marvin Zindler, and actor Dom Delouise, who portrayed Zindler in the movie, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.



Her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, her work experiences in Property Management, the Oil & Gas Industry, and Custom Home Builds provides her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating home-buyers and sellers.



Native to Texas, she grew up in Houston, and La Grange. She always says she had the best of both worlds, the city life and the country life. She currently resides in La Grange with her beloved Ollie, a dapple dachshund, and her wild child, Piper, a beautiful schnauzer.



Darla will work in her rural community that boast the farm and ranch sector of real estate, as well as in Austin and Houston.
