She is active in the April Sound Ladies Association, April Sound Tennis Association, Joe is president of the Men's Golf Association in April Sound and both stay in close contact with the April Sound HOA.

When not showing and selling real estate, Bethany and Joe dote on their blended families, which include three sons, one daughter . Her oldest son works in the DC area in sales and her youngest will graduated this with a mechanical engineering degree. Bethany, who grew up showing Tennessee Walking Horses with her father who was a trainer, takes great joy in attending horse shows with former competitors and teammates.
