I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2023. Although I was born in Paulton, England, I have been raised in the greater Houston area since 1998, so I consider myself a Texan. As for my areas of specialization, I am willing to help my clients in any way I can to get them what they want.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, I became a Texas licensed Certified Public Accountant, since 2017. I hold a master's degree in accounting from Texas A&M and took a series of Oil and Gas and Real Estate electives to broaden my understanding of the greater Houston markets. I married my wonderful wife, Katelyn, in 2020 and we have a beautiful baby girl, Holland. We currently live in an 80-year-old farmhouse on 200 acres just north of the Madisonville, TX area in a small town called Normangee.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to explain even the most complicated components of a transaction to my clients in a way they can understand. As a laid-back and easygoing person, I can deal with and attain even the most unique of home requests.
My mother, Ruth Duance, has been working as a real estate agent since 2006 and has been the greatest influence on my life, both personally and professionally and inspired me to get my license shortly after college. I have followed my mother's real estate career through the years and what I've learned from her helps me in the marketing of the houses my clients entrust me to sell. My experience in accounting helps me better understand the financial side of the business, which I believe will be a useful asset to have when working to find the perfect house for my clients. The best career advice I was ever given is to listen to others' needs, wants and concerns, and make them your own
It would be a pleasure to help you with reach your real estate goals and realize your real estate dreams

David was raised in a small town, population ~3300. As a child, David had aspirations of being a mechanic and race car driver. He would take everything apart just to see how it worked. Never once did he think he would stumble into the real estate industry, but you can't always predict where or when you'll discover what you're meant to do in life. He has been in the Houston area since 1991. This story perfectly sums up the kind of person / agent David is, and the type of agent he continuously strives to be for his clients. David was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that's what he did. And he worked hard, and works hard. As the years went by, David worked his way from 12 hour shifts as a gas station attendant at 15, various other jobs, graduated from University of Missouri Columbia, worked in the oilfield, became a business owner, investor in real estate, Real Estate agent, and now he is a Broker for Patrons Realty, all the while never wavering in his resolve to become the best version of himself with each career move. When he first ventured into the Real Estate industry years ago, he did so, helping sellers avoid the headaches often associated with the home selling process. In his years of experience, not only has he helped alleviate the stress of selling for numerous clients, but he also accumulated years of knowledge to help them get more money for their homes in the least amount of time. His mission in Real Estate is to be completely committed to his clients. He provides honest answers free of bias, complete integrity providing the clients with the best service available to maximize the value of their dollars. Providing communication is a critical element of that service. As his career advanced, David found his stride working with Sellers and Sellers with special problems, such as Foreclosure, Divorce, and Death.
