I am truly passionate about Real Estate. Before working in real estate, I founded one of the most successful and respected advertising agencies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When I sold my business and moved into real estate, my advertising background helped me become the the leading agent for Sotheby's, selling luxury houses in Rio de Janeiro. I left Sotheby's and founded Alto Padrao, a brokerage in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in representing buyers and sellers of luxuryproperties. Why me? I love making things smoother for my clients. Liz is a Texas REALTOR® who prides herself on forging the path and breaking down the barriers of homeownership. Her simple approach of intently listening to her client's needs, realizing solutions and offering consistent communication throughout the process turn her clients into lasting relationships. Her strong attention to detail, knowledge of the market and keeping up with market trends affords her clients with up-to-date information on all things real estate. Liz knows what it means to communicate and what it takes to successfully drive results while striving to ensure the client's buying or selling experience be a positive, stress-free and seamless one.

Prior to Real Estate, Liz spent 15 years of her professional career helping business partners manage all aspects of human resources and performance improvement. Liz leveraged her human resources experience to help employers build stronger employee/employer relationships. Liz believes the common thread between real estate and human resources is the ability to drive positive results.

Liz is a native Texan and has been a Houstonian for the better part of 25 years. She earned her BBA from the University of Houston and her MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University. Liz and her family have called The Woodlands home since 2009. They especially enjoy the people, culture, and the many outdoor activities the community has to offer.

Cathy Lakey has been helping people hit home runs in buying and selling homes for many years. Part of a family that loves baseball, it's not surprising that she sees commonality between achievement on a baseball diamond and achievement in her profession.

Her "secret" to success is pretty much the same as that of the big-league sluggers -- lots of hard work, preparation, continuous improvement, and never settling for mediocrity. She stays on top of the latest trends in real estate marketing and seeks opportunities for ongoing education in her field.

With more than 20 years of active real estate experience, Cathy maintains a strong commitment to continued learning and professional development. As such, she holds several industry-known designations -- ABR, CHMS, CLHMS, CNE, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, SRES -- offering expertise in luxury marketing, negotiating, staging, relocation, the active-adult community, and much more. She also has handled many sales involving estates and probates. In addition, Cathy is expanding into commercial real estate services and working to obtain her broker's license.

Cathy holds the coveted CRS designation awarded by the National Association of REALTORS. As such, she is one of an elite group comprising only 3 percent of REALTORS nationwide who have met the education and production requirements to earn and maintain this designation. The Certified Residential Specialist designation has been referred to by some in the business as "like having a doctorate degree in real estate."
