Prior to getting my license, I served the student housing market as a Leasing Consultant until I was promoted to Assistant Community Manager. A resident of Montgomery County for 30 years, Sonya Patterson possesses an unmatched knowledge about the area and its communities. Originally from Kingsville, TX, Sonya loves living in this area for its diverse population, friendly atmosphere, and amazing resources for family entertainment! This profound affection for the area, combined with her passion for working with people, led Sonya to pursue a career in real estate!

Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Sonya’s interest in making a difference in the community led her to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. After graduating, she worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Montgomery County where she handled the Spanish speaking cases. Eventually, she became Court Coordinator for the Ninth District Court. Through her experience, she became well versed at working with families and developing relationships with outside parties in order to effectively manage every case.

As a real estate agent, Sonya brings her tireless work ethic, loyalty, determination, and ability to multi task to each transaction. Her personable nature allows her to relate to her clients and remain respectful and sensitive to their individual situations, while listening to their wants and needs.
