After growing up in The Woodlands, I have been a resident of Montgomery Country for 30 plus combined years; therefore, I know and love this area that I work and call home. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor's degree in Business & Marketing. I offer 16 years of sales & marketing experience which gives me a sound foundation to work effectively with clients. In real estate, I have qualified for and received my Accredited Luxury Home Specialist designation ALHS, and my HRLYPTS designation. I have a great passion for interior design and I enjoy being able to offer assistance in staging and home preparation to my clients. I strongly believe life is about experiences and making memories. As a result, I strive to create the most positive experience for my clients, their needs, and their expectations when working with them. Some of the most important parts of a positive experience in real estate is possessing a strong work ethic with integrity, being a market expert, and providing stellar communication. These are promises I give to clients when working with me. Outside of real estate, I keep busy as a wife and mother of two great kids. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Sonya’s interest in making a difference in the community led her to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. After graduating, she worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Montgomery County where she handled the Spanish speaking cases. Eventually, she became Court Coordinator for the Ninth District Court. Through her experience, she became well versed at working with families and developing relationships with outside parties in order to effectively manage every case.

Last August, My husband David and I experienced the devastation of Hurricane Harvey that destroyed our personal home and our rental property. We also experienced the beauty of others that traveled across the country to help others in desperate need. David and I are living in an apartment in the Woodlands, TX while our new home is being built. This also gives me an opportunity to continue my learning and understanding of building new construction from ground up and share my experiences and knowledge with my clients that may decide to build instead of purchasing a resale home. David and I have a blended family of ten children, nineteen grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and a host of relatives and friends and some who are our clients. In our planned leisure time, we enjoy traveling from state to state and across the waters to beautiful countries. Volunteering gives me an opportunity to give back to my community and make a difference others around me. Volunteering with the Food Banks, Area Schools, Habitat for Humanity, Area Gardening Clubs and KW Cares that give assistance throughout areas of our neighborhoods. We serve in our WoodsEdge Community Church, where we serve as Prayer Partners. Real Estate is an ever evolving industry with constant market and trend changes, it's easy to get lost in the way things were and that can be devastating to ones bottom line. Participating in continued education allows me to stay current on real estate laws, streamline my social media marketing and give my clients peace of mind.
