Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Sonya’s interest in making a difference in the community led her to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. She is an active PTO member and volunteer at her children's schools and supports the American Heart Association, the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program, Will Herndon Fund at Beyond Batten Disease Foundation, and several local sports organizations/booster clubs.
